Marina Bisson

Marina Bisson graduated in Geology in 1997 and specialised in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). After being awarded various Scholarships and Research Fellowships by CNR (National Research Council), in 2004 she was hired on a fixed-term basis as Technologist at the National Institute of Geophysics and Vulcanology (INGV). She has worked as university lecturer on the Geomatics Course at the University of Pisa – Department of Earth Sciences, since 2006. Her main activities include: creation of geo-referenced databases for vector maps and raster maps in various contexts (geomorphological, volcanological, archaeological), implementation and analysis of high- and medium-resolution Digital Terrain Models, and remote sensing applications.
